you say it’s your birthday: wishlist

by Grace Bonney

today is my 29th birthday so i thought i’d celebrate my last official year as a late twenty-something by making a little roundup of items that, if i won the lottery for my birthday, would be in my shopping cart today. from big (antique jewelry!) to small (new sneakers!), they best represent the mix of things that make up my personal style right now- who knows what i’ll think when i look back on this post one day. maybe i’ll laugh and shake my head, or maybe i’ll still be like “ooh! i need that dorothy draper dresser”. in happy news- one of these wishlist items, a bike (not sure which one yet), actually will be in my cart later today, when ac and i head into the city to test drive some bikes and bring one home! i can’t wait to get back in shape and cruise around town with the breeze in my hair. i’m still going to be posting the rest of the day today (i have a work meeting so i’m going to take a full weekend off instead of today) so stay tuned for some great diy projects after this! xo, grace

ps: amy got me a for my birthday! how cool is that?? so if you’re in nyc this weekend and see someone screaming like a lunatic while hanging from a wire on the west side highway, that’ll be me. ;)

[images above, clockwise from top left: $165, in coral $165, $2800 (a girl can dream), $245, $90, $88, $120, $138, $68, $4500 (my dream furniture), $950 (i want this bike so badly it hurts), $125]
