15 Pretty Patios to Inspire Your Summer Outdoor Entertaining

by Kelli Kehler

Summer is officially here, and that means it’s patio season. If you have an outdoor space — no matter the size — you have the ability to create your own outside oasis with some DIY dedication. Potted plants and some clever thrifting to reimagine furniture pieces can go a long way in transforming your own patio into a place that’s a comfortable extension of the indoors.

Don’t be afraid to think outside the box: one of our examples we’re sharing today used to be a carport and is now a chic covered patio where crawfish boils happen regularly. Another attractive porch features furniture made completely of free shipping pallets. Whatever your outdoor patio situation, we’re confident these favorites from the archives will help spark some serious summer relaxation inspiration. —
